New York State Police investigators in East Meadow are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a woman wanted in Nassau County on an unauthorized use of a vehicle charge.
An alert was issued for 29-year-old Shatiya Gayle, who is wanted by state police and the Nassau County Court after an arrest warrant was issued for her on April 7, 2015, when she failed to appear in court after being arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Police described Gayle as a 5-foot-3 African American woman weighing 127 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding Gayle’s whereabouts has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators by calling (631) 756-3300 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
